We’re so excited to share our interview with our our valued officiants, Rev. Forrest Whitman!
Tell us about your business, Weddings Your Way.
“I love getting to know wedding couples and officiating a wedding ceremony that is really theirs. Often that means presenting various options ranging from humanist ceremonies to more traditional ceremonies (even sometimes with sections in Spanish). Especially nice is when we can include some old Colorado customs and a bit of history. I’m there to assist a couple as they set up the marriage milestone on their journey.”
How long have you lived in the area and what brough you here?
“I’ve been in Colorado for many years and in Salida for about 10. We moved here from our old county to be with friends and for a less challenging climate.”
Are you a mountains or water guy?
“I’m addicted to birding and enjoy all the service opportunities and walking with GARNA and Central Colorado Conservancy. I’m also a train fan and you can hear my show ON THE RAILS on I tunes or as a podcast on KHEN.org”
